Why I Built AI Wire

Right now we are reaching a time where all of the big tech companies are getting heavily involved in AI, and they're all releasing products. There's lots of rumors running around.

OpenAI has ChatGPT, and they've got a new model they release at least once a month. Anthropic has Claude and all of their models. Everyone's waiting to see if Google will release their model, which some expect might be very competitive with OpenAI and Anthropic.

Facebook had a big surprise with Muse, which is proving to be very popular — it reached number one on the app stores for downloads, even above ChatGPT. Elon Musk's company xAI has a product called Grok, and Microsoft seems to finally be releasing some things as well.

So just to keep everything organized, I've created this site called AI Wire. It's a way to keep track of everything that's being released, and also to understand a lot of the tech terms related to AI — and even how to compare the different models.
