I thought I would write a message about some of the successes of PHP Link Directory. It has come a long way since I started it around 2001, because I was trying to simplify the process of exchanging links with other sites. In the beginning of 2005, nobody had really heard of PHP Link Directory, now commonly referred to as phpLD, and just under 2 years later there are well over 10,000 sites using phpLD, and that number is growing all the time. According to MSN there are about 469,000 pages pointing to phplinkdirectory.com. Early on there were a lot of sites, but not all that many "authority" sites, but 2006 has seen quite a change.

Congrats to all the folks that have found some level of success using phpLD, and a big thanks to all the people that have put so much into phpLD, and made it what it is today.

Yahoo is now showing nearly 10 million links pointing to phpLD, and phplinkdirectory.com is a pagerank 7 site with over 30,000 members on out forums.
