Here is an idea for a movie that I would title "The Grid". The grid refers to the highway system.
All automobiles are now controlled by the grid, not the driver. You get in your vehicle, type in your destination, and away you go. The poorer people in the World actually live in the grid, and it is not unusual to see people in their cars sleeping as they move across the grid. It is virtually impossible to travel to any place that is not part of the grid, unless you are rich. The poor people rarely see the rich people, unless they come driving through the grid. A few poor people have been out of the grid and come back and tell people what it was like, and the heros in the story dream of finding a way out.
