MarketingGoogle Adsense Versus Stock DividendsI was fortunate enough to get into google adsense around 2004 or 2005, and while I have found somewhat of a ceiling on how much I can make, I would have to say I have received some of the best return on investment. Not only that, Google Adsense cost very little to get started. You can buy a domain name for about $8, and then hosting for as little as $5 per month. In this scenario, you would only be investing $68 per year on the website, plus the time it takes to setup the website and add content. In order to profit you only need to earn about $6 per month on the website. If you keep adding content, there will tend to be any increasing amount earned per month over time. And if you get a busy website that many read weekly, you can have some pretty good numbers. I have one website in which I have invested no more than $1000 yet made nearly $6000 on Google Adsense since 2005. This is probably the best Return on Investment. I have many others that have done well too. Some have earned more, some less. But the point is that if you start a few websites now, and starting adding content, there is still a good chance that you can earn money over the years, or even have income during retirement, so much so that you might do better with websites and Google Adsense than you would with stocks and dvidends. Or even better, try both! Here is a video from Google Adsense to tell you a little more about it:

Facebook Traffic
Statistically, I have been working with some a few sites whose traffic was quite low, and the only promotion I did was with Facebook. Sometimes I will see 50 or more uniques a day just from Facebook. I've got more to lean but I think this is an area that is worth more development. Software wize, we have several more enhancements coming to phpLD not seen elsewhere to be announced soon. | |
