It seems that scientists have found a massive river 13,000 feet below the Amazon river that runs a couple thousand miles and may contribute to the salinity of the basin.

Multi Blogger Sites are Fun!

by David on August 20, 2011 02:29:09 AM

I encounted a group of people on Facebook. One friend of mine added me to their group. They are a somewhat liberal leaning group, and they are a pretty enthusiatic bunch with lots of energy. There are young people who served in Iraq, and retired people who have time to post on Facebook. Many of them have had very little experience posting on blogs, but they have interesting backgrounds, etc.

So I agreed to start a website for them. They wanted to make something more meaningful than just a facbook group. So we have made a multi user blog, and we already have 4 authors making contributions in less than 48 hours, and as I understand, several more contributions on the way. I have been shooting videos teaching them how to login and post, and also working through a couple of bugs we found along the way.

Overall it has been fun. Check it out! The site is called Enhanced Reason.

Not the Golfer

by David on August 19, 2011 06:11:37 PM

You would be amazed at the number of emails I have received over the years from people who think I am the golfer, David DuVal. Apparently he had some problems with Vertigo, and it interfered with his golf game. I have received countless advice about how to cure vertigo. I have received requests for an interview, as well as people just telling me how much they appreciate me, and want to see me make a come back. So thank you to all, but this is a case of mistaken identity, as I don't play much golf and I don't have vertigo.

If you are interested in web development, ballroom dancing, or swimming, we would have a lot more talk about.

Best wishes to all!
